Special Picture # 50 – Ella Duryee Guion and Elsie May Guion @ 1890

I’m going to be out of town next week taking some job training so I’ll be posting Special Pictures for the week. I hope you enjoy them.

This picture of Ella Duryee Guion, Grandpa’s Mother, was taken on the front porch of the Lincoln Avenue House in Mount Vernon, NY,  with Elsie May, Grandpa’s sister, who was about three at the time.

    What loving motherly encouragement it looks like she’s giving little Elsie May. Hope your knee is healing.

      Carol – It sure looks like Elsie is hesitant or afraid and Mom is sure trying to reassure her !! You can really see the love her Mother has for her.
